Well fact is every Gonzaloist I spoke to except you seemed to be a giant retärd.

Of course socialism cannot be reached through mere reforms, however, this doesn't negate the necessity of reforms.

China was the birthplace of the cultural revolution and still turned revisionist right afterwards so I am not sure if that alone can help.

The "fighting battles" in the US sounds nice in theory but just ends up throwing red paint at DSA campus activists and putting pig heads in front of buildings and other goofy s***. A lot of it is just adventurism.

Gonzalo-Maoists don't have mass organizations in most countries. India? Naxalites don't even have mass bases in their parts of the country. At least Kerala has a communist party ruling. Phillipines? Not Gonzaloists. Peru? Shining Path is dead. Europe? Lol no. USA? No. Nepal? Not Gonzaloists.

The fact is most people have never even heard of Gonzalo, not even most leftists. I am sure a lot of the recent stuff comes from Gonzalo dying. If Pol Pot died 1 month ago you would see these Twitter activists simping for them.

Another thing Gonzaloists love to do is show graffitis or little protests with 5 people and say "the masses are accepting Gonzalo thought", there are entire leftypol threads like this. Their newest line is that Brazil is doing a mass PPW, which isn't even true. I still think you have some misconstrued idea of what Maoists think PPW is. We don't think that throwing paint at DSA members is a ppw. Maoists don't believe in just launching a war tomorrow, we still believe in the careful build up of forces and building of consciousness of the masses. Just like you said, of course we can't just hand your local Amazon worker a gun and tell him to join the revolution.

I also have never seen any Maoists say the Brazil is having a ppw if they did they're wrong. The only ppws going on are in the Philippines, Peru, Turkey and India. But Maoists in Brazil have been building red bases, that's true. Just last month the Brazilian state of Rondônia surrendered large swaths of farm land that the League of Poor Peasants had captured and held against attacks from the state for over a year.

I know you've been a major supporter in the rise of the Democratic Left in South America. But there's also been a rise in support for Maoism in South America obviously nowhere near the same size. But Maoist Communists Parties in South/Latin America are some of the most advanced in the world.

I would say Philippines and India. Peru is over man, there isnt even a SP left, just a narco-splinter organization. Turkey, eh, barely a PPW, they bomb s*** here and there which is absolutely f***ing useless I might add as a Turkish poster. Adventurists only help the state in cracking down on leftists before they even had the semblance of a chance to grow. If you can't reach power after 50 to 60 years of struggle then it's time to change strategies. The Russians didn't have the same strategy for 5 decades either, you had Narodniks and Social Revolution party and the Mensheviks and the Bolsheviks and years where they where just organizing secretly and years where they were organizing more openly, years where they fled the country, years where they came back, years where nobody was using weapons, you had years where they were trying communes, there was a lot of different things going on in that time period. Meanwhile Shining Path were chilling in the same jungle for almost half a century. Their chances ended the moment Guzman got arrested anyway

There's still contingent of members of the Shining Path who didn't fall into the right opportunist line fighting under the command of comrade Laura in one region of Peru. It's not really a full fledged ppw but there is still a flicker.
