my friend knows a lot about history, would call himself a dem-doc and is interested in Marxism but my chops of explaining s*** to beginners isn’t the best so I figured I could send him a general video to supplement what I’ve told him

also does anyone know a book / or a video (could be Wolff) where

it explains Marx’s stages of history (?), wherein if a force is a fetter on to further productive / technological improvement, that force is overthrown and a new society comes forth

i listen to the socialist program podcast fairly often w brian becker and he has on richard wolff at least weekly and then there’s a separate economic update by wolff on podcasts and youtube (as a video)

economic update is useful cause he just kinda talks about current happenings in the economy and what workers are dealing with, from a marxist lens obv
