It seemed hopeful the first day or two but then i saw white people in black hoodies torching the businesses of somali immigrants i'm not trying to be all like "BUT THE POOR BUSINESSES" or something, but almost all the violence was entirely targeted at the ALREADY LEAST POLICED AREAS (ironically in part why they got away with it) - lower-income immigrant communities, lower-middle class neighborhoods, etc. ; the most they did was maybe loot some walmarts or wendy's, which is like idr feel bad at all but who cares. Once they started burning low income housing too i was just like
While there was a tiny bit of it, the fact is almost all the violence basically just went towards other working communities, none of it actually went toward the ruling class, hence why corporations & politicians were so willing to jump on board and co-opt it immediatedly. Almost everything by the end was basically state sanctioned too. CHAZ/CHOP was literally just allowed by the Seattle Government, until it hurt their re-election chances, then it was cleared overnight. The fact it took less than 12 hours to clear everything once they actually wanted to is just proof of how much it was actually directly enabled by those in power. It's really depressing because I agree, it was outlined by a movement and set of ideas which should have been very inspiring, but the reality of it was just like

Long story short RGA got into beef with the French Maoists that were doing their printing over a bunch of s*** including trans stuff, support of the Continuators in Canada etc etc and the French cut them off
