So when China drifted again a lot of them just abandoned communism, some few turned to Hoxhaism, I think a party or two turned towards Cuba and Castro, and the rest went social democrat
I read a lot about different parties and I cant recall any Dengoid party in the 80s
The closest communist party to Dengoidism right now is the Russian Communist Party I think
Europe has a lot of Maoist-to-neoliberal politicians
Being a Maoist was very en vogue those days and didn't have the baggage of the USSR, same with being a Trotskyist
And the pro-USSR parties often had a similar fate of course, turning into generic left-liberal parties
