because socialism/communism can't maintain control if people are allowed to spread anti-marxist ideas through art

    Synopsis

    Says who

because as proven in every single country where communism has been put into practice, people very quickly become disenchanted with the system once it's been put in place

hence the only way that the state can maintain it's grip on power is by crushing any forms of thought or actions that can increase dissent against the government

but please tell me abut how every example of communism in the past was just 'done wrong' and all that

maybe if synopsis and arcade goon took power of a country they would solve all the problems of the world and usher in utopia, right??

You can have socialism without having thought police. If anything, like people are saying itt, art can flourish because many potential artists have to work some menial job to survive under capitalism

Considering there are plenty of pro American enterpeneurs in Cuba, I think you would do fine making art that isn’t in support of communism. But also, what are you even trying to prove with this? I’m not going to be able to show you anything that satisfies you

The need for those "menial jobs" isn't just going to disappear under socialism

I’m trying to go against the narrative that socialism and communism is some kind of a happy umbrella solution to all the worlds problems, I take it personally because I’m a descendant of former eastern bloc countries, and I’ve been told from a young age in great detail the depth of the evil that unfolded there in the pursuit of utopian society

It frustrates me that the failures of Marxism are always levelled at those that were in power, not at the ideology itself. It’s a disgusting ideology that has no place in the world. It’s like saying Nazism was only bad because Hitler was the man in power and he did bad things but the idea behind it is good.

The ideas behind Marxism are rooted in resentment, suppression, envy and hate, all conveniently painted behind a pretty veneer of utopian fantasy

They have no answer for questions like that

All they can do is try to make you feel dumb for mentioning it

A lot of them will because they aren’t actually needed, just capitalists taking advantage of cheap labor
