I wouldn't call myself a third worldist but we agree on some things. The more I've learned the more I've noticed how sick this society is. If you described to alien the conept of plantation marriages, kids playing Cowboys and Indians, columbus day, etc, how would he react? How do you square people like Thomas Jefferson being the founders of your world? It's the air they breathe and the ground they walk on, quite literally in the case of settler colonies. Even their proudest moments, like "defeating fascism", involves extracting uranium from a slave mine and using it to burn hundreds of thousands of villagers alive.
