Not too long ago they were saying we werent good enough or smart enough to play sports
But now we dominate in so many different lanes

Football
Tennis

Boxing
Gymnastics
I'm proud to see my ppl climbing up
Dress like us. Talk like us. Walk like us.
They like everything about us except us
We're the most emulated and simultaneously the most hated.
Even Africans don't claim us. We're the orphans of the planet.
But in these last 3 decades we've become the culturr of the planet ✊🏾
Hip hop/comedy/r&b/sports. Our contributions as a people is slowly bringing the world together 💜
Africans love black americans pleeease stop perpetuating that s***.
Yep black people in America have to learn how to infiltrate the system like the Jews. When you have a hand in power in the most powerful institutions your voice will be heard and things will get done.
Granted the Jews were white so it was easier for them..but still there are things to be taken away from it.
Need more black cops, DA’s, lawyers...
Actually, black people are proportionately represented among law enforcement. What we see is a classic example of black police showing out for the white cop
Not many people know this (I myself didn’t until like last year cause it’s not really taught in schools) but during reconstruction the black majority actually held power in South Carolina. They drafted a new constitution, and while the governors and senators for federal congress were white, the majority of the legislatures at the state level were black. It ended because federal troops agreed to withdraw from the south in exchange for Rutherford B Hayes being the undisputed president despite losing the popular vote

Ehhh. Younger Africans yes. Their parents/grandparents? A lot of times no
It's gonna be that way until we start our own streaming services, studios and record labels AND support them
Exactly but too many black people lost in the sauce,a lot of black folks think they’ve made it just cause racism and oppression is slightly hidden now. And because of this,a lot black people don’t wanna start from the bottom cause why start from the bottom when you can just make a deal or get a push from the big white corporations.
Ehhh. Younger Africans yes. Their parents/grandparents? A lot of times no
bullshit bro people love to focus on the negative stuff but most africans young and old love black americans caribbean blacks love black americans stop letting old divisive rhetoric separate us

I mean there are some issues between African Americans and Africans (not as big as he's making them out to be), but the blame can't be put on only one side.

I’m not. But I’m not gonna pretend that some of this stuff doesn’t exist on both sides

acknowledge it yes on both sides but largely there always been africans travelling to the US or americans travelling or moving to africa or the marrying and/or becoming friends with each other, cut that out
Africans love black americans pleeease stop perpetuating that s***.
Africans will tell you this to your face 🙄
Africans will tell you this to your face 🙄
Only some of the old and more traditional first generation African immigrants.
Acting like Africans hate African Americans does nothing but divide black people and make us weaker in the face of white supremacy.

Bruh as the whole world treats African Americans funny when they move over here. They smile in our face and talk s*** about us behind our backs. They claim we're lazy and unintelligent.
And you dismissing it is part of the problem. You claim we're just making up rhetoric and that we need to get over it. That's what everyone says about it. Goofy asses.
You know how many times I've been called "one of the good ones"? Smh
Too many times have I had to sit around foreigners and smile and nod while they tell me their opinions of African Americans.

You've just had bad personal experiences with Africans and are now generalizing that to all Africans.

Dawg I’m African (have an African name and everything) and my fam loves black americans. Nigerians were inspired by black Americans struggle to have our own cultural revolution in Nigeria. My pops and grandparents are straight from nigeria and have had very little negative things to say about black Americans (my grandfather doesn’t like how some black Americans don’t put an emphasis on education but that’s it). I got family in Nigeria and theyre always asking me about America, and s***. Black American culture is huge in Nigeria.
I’ve never seen the vitriol between black Americans and Africans in real life either only online. My mom is a Lightskin woman from New Jersey with green eyes and curly hair and still married my pops who is a dark black Nigerian.
its not an act lol
It is. Some problems exist but not to the extent he's trying yo say and it goes both ways.
Yes and unfortunately this is nothing new
And when you try to being it up you just get "stop being political" like caring about human lives/racism is political
Everything is f***ing political. I hate when niggas say that. The people who never wanna talk about politics are the people who benefit the most from the status quo. S***s lame as f***
