Cut soda out so long ago I can’t even remember when it was. At least 8 yrs or so
Didn’t make the difference I thought it would on my body aesthetically but just knowing I’m not haphazardly cramming ed amounts of empty calories and sugar into my body makes a psychological difference.
The local Mediterranean spot I got Uber eats through recently sent a Coke instead of water and I happily downed that hoe tho.. every sip went crazy that day.
But after you go so long without eating or drinking a lot of sugary s*** your taste buds literally adapt to think it tastes like it’s poisoning you so I haven’t had one since and don’t plan on it.
When I go in convenience stores it’s like the soda section don’t even exist anymore to me… it’s a trip how life changes you piece by piece over time
I’d rather drink an energy drink tbh
Drinking them after you haven’t drank any in a while makes you feel like s***

bro how u gon hate on soda and then praise energy drinks?
f*** soda tho.....has way too much sugar and some people cant live without it
the only good ways to use soda are 1. when you feel bloated or 2. as a chaser
I use it as mix sometimes but that's about it, would never drink that s*** by itself

No more dirty sprite
2 many calories too
one bottle of regular coke has almost more calories than a steak

That’s where it gets you.
Imagine before ppl got hip everybody used to grab big gulps which are like 44oz or some s*** and slam them hoes regularly.. we had life f***ed up.

I'm not a huge fan of social media but seeing healthy recipes and way of life promoted through IG and YT really has changed our generation for the better

our dads and mothers had the excuse of ''trying their best'' but no we dont have that with all the information that's literaly on the tip of our fingers
these threads are always hilarious. Nobody on KTT drinks soda, right

Yeah it just gets down to digging past the myriad of bullshit now.
So many people listen to people who sound like they know wtf they’re talking about and are too lazy/ naïve to dig deeper a lot of people wind up believing some off the wall nonsensical s***..
But if you really want the information, it’s out there if you know where to look.

real....on so many levels
I mean low cal sodas and energy drinks if you like them aren't bad. I would drink 40oz Diet Coke Caffeine-Free on tap for a buck and it would scratch my itch.
Once you cut out soda it’s really hard to go back to it.
But when you do it’s hard to cut it again.
Sugar addiction very real
I remember I quit Coke/Pepsi six years ago because my dentist recommended it.
I pulled it off then, 2 years ago, at a family BBQ, I decided to drink a cup of Pepsi after giving it up so long and it tasted so sour to me that I felt like my teeth were melting like the wicked witch lol. No cap.
I couldn't even sip a quarter of the cup because of that. So I just dumped it and continued drinking water and tea.
I will say, an occasional specialty soda hits the spot.
Not just the moment or the "pairing".
But also just smaller soda brands with more nuanced flavor
Soda doesn't have to mean the regulars. There are a lot of really interesting sodas out there, that's the only time I really drink soda tho.
kola champagne
Can't remember the last time i even took a sip of soda... maybe 4 or 5 years ago

Same
Sparkling water is goat because it gives you the same sensation as soda without the sugar and other miscellaneous bullshit
