It just happens in restaurant culture. Worked at a fine dining spot in the city a couple years back and that s*** was literally war and slavery. The guy I was working with was getting all sorts of disrespect and he had this insanely stoic mentality while working fast paced and nonstop, I really hope those checks were good to him.

I think you need to just be water man when it comes to the ebb and flows of interactions not everything is a battle. It’s like you’re on edge at all times from how you’ve described your outings. Just enjoy the moments with whoever is talking to you and and be present because clearly you’re approachable despite you not really liking yourself. But I have the same faults as well at times
