Dude you don’t own the game because you have the disc, read the fine print. It’s just a digital license on the disc essentially that you’re borrowing, even when you buy it you don’t actually own the license.

Discs are also not permanent, there is disc rot. They can get scratched. Lost. Stolen. Damaged in a fire or earthquake.

I think buy your favorite games of all time physical and their native console . To be honest many of these newer games I less desire physical because they lack the soul

Gen atlas I want a physical but don’t currently have a console since I’m shifting to pc . Pc I can use for many things vs a console for 900 pay for online and soon digital only

pc has piracy, community servers, you can download physical things onto your harddrive and duplicate it. you can put it on your own disc if you wanna lol

windows is ass, but linux based os like steam os will replace it eventually. pc legit moving in the opposite direction from consoles in terms of ownership if youre paying attention

They are hyperbole but you are also ridiculous. People who’ve built a disc library past 6-20 years and that’s their library told that library is meaningless isn’t small . Even if Xbox doesn’t have a disc drive next gen ( who knows rumors both ways ) they are better at game preservation than Sony . This will overall digital only make gaming more expensive . Big box stores not doing crazy sales of games with a code in the box .
