nothing to say about any of my actual arguments, just insults. can't admit you were wrong about drm free storefronts, DRM loaded discs, that you were just talking out of your ass for no reason when i literally agree with y'all, so you dodge. you're a coward.

even still, you don't gotta like me. but if you care about the things you claimed to care about, you'll actually read what i had to say, and learn something. people who approach me civilly get a civil response, niggas like you and that other jackass didn't, so y'all reaped what you sowed. cry about it somewhere else

that guy was in here yesterday bragging about how robberies and natural disasters don’t effect anyone he knows lol. He a lil bit off

not sure if you're trolling, but either way dude missed the point of what i posted. i never said i owned it bc i pirated it (which is true, btw, but not BECAUSE it was pirated) i own it bc it's drm free. that's the point i was making which he was too willfully ignorant to understand

either way you don't own any of these things, and even with GOG you're still getting a license. i'm using own more as a shorthand, but it's more about accessibility and preservation, which a piece of software being drm free guarantees, regardless of where or how it's stored.

and when stuff has drm the only way to get it drm free is through pirating. which is the only way to ownership.

this is why cd project red removed their drm from the witcher after it became so widely pirated. they were even sued by their distributor for it.

  • maxxing

Yes, this is not the same as saying "this doesn't affect anyone I know"

This means "these things are extremely rare and can happen to anyone but haven't happened to anyone I know personally"

I literally work with the fire department we get structure fires every single day

like i said im using ownership as a shorthand, but basically yeah. it's trivially easy to drop goldberg into a steam game you've already purchased with drm if you wanna store it drm free, assuming that game doesn't have any other forms of drm. and that way you've now actually preserved the game if steam goes down, and obviously still bought the game legally. or you buy from gog or itch which don't have these countermeasures in the first place. steam's drm is optional though to be clear like publishers/devs may or may not implement it

The average American is projected to experience multiple natural disasters in their lifetime. Millions are displaced each year in the USA alone. It’s happening constantly. Just because it’s not happening to everybody all at the same time doesn’t make it not a problem that people face eventually lol

You also have to consider millions of Americans living with disabilities and not getting off the couch is a genuine help

Basically nobody is in here bootlicking a corporation, but go ahead and disregard all of our points and then straw man us with this one easy trick to winning every argument

  • Lit

me currently playing Kingdom Hearts games on my ps3 living the illusion

if someone was to say old gaming better I would agree for sure

We live in era of endless updates and DLC, console gaming used to be alot more wholesome and fun when it was not dependent on being online. But it's the world we're living in. I'm not saying it's good just it felt inevitable considering.

    Let me rephrase:

The average American experiencing a natural disaster to the point of major loss to home and/or property is an unlikely occurrence.

The stats are there for you to research yourself. I literally work in this field

There’s an estimated 28m ps5s in America, and 14m households in America are affected by natural disasters every year. You’re understating the real world impacts. Just because people’s entire home isn’t reduced to ash doesn’t mean their stuff isn’t affected.

Affected =/= major loss of home and property

I was affected by a hurricane in 2012. My entire area lost power and water for about a week, but no homes were severely damaged.

You can be affected by a natural disaster without it meaning that you lose all of your personal belongings. I experience this every single day at my job

To be fair “my two cents” is the opposite of saying let me grace you with my wisdom lol, my two cents is like a humble statement that means it’s just what I think

imo he just wanted to share a take and was saying in his opinion nobody had shared that take yet

True but they just sold their entire tv home theater business to TCL few months ago there goes the quality

They sold 51%. TCL want to move to premium range and not seen as budget anymore. LG used to be seen as budget too but now one of the best so only time will tell
