This Witcher & Spider-Man all dropping this week
Just finished up part two of Post Covid. Overall it was a good special, definitely has a lot of those eye roll moments because of the soapboxing. But it was enjoyable. I will say, I am kinda disappointed with what happens to Cartman in the end, as throughout the special he went through some good character development, and was surprisingly a somewhat likeable person whose heart was in the right place. But they lowkey kinda throw that out the window and the payoff isn't really funny, it's just kinda sad and unnecessary.
Gonna watch this tonight after work
watching it now
I don't get it what are those weird circular helmets they wear on the future?
i really hated pt 2, i feel like that was the worst episode they've made in a really long time. pt 1 was really good, i thought it was a decent return to form. i thought this was barely watchable

Still trynna figure that s*** out
F***ing butters and NFT's lmaooooo
But damn Cartman lost it all
The Bladerunner Geisha gets me everytime for some reason. It works both as a reference and as a silly detail that feels like something the writers would've came up with anyways.
The ending for Cartmanās character feels way too mean spirited.
Rubs me the wrong way.
I get that Cartman is a POS but he was still a child and had growing to do. Seeing him genuinely be a changed person with a loving family and making the decision to allow Time Travel to occur knowing he could lose it all was a very mature decision.
And they donāt reward him for that, they spit on him and i felt like the message of the episode was very wonky after that

Yeah I liked this episode a lot but they did Cartman dirty af at the end for no reason

And this is the main thing with all us SP fans. It's a bit f***ed up but at the same time it's Eric we don't have to go down his dark past.
He changed for the better yeah but, life man.

feels like the implication of the episode is that South Park brings out the worst in Eric Cartman.
idk maybe iām taking this stupid adult cartoon show character arc too seriously but it genuinely made me feel depressed finishing that episode.
What makes Randy or Kyle or Stan or any other character who has done reprehensible things any more deserving of a good future then Cartman?

I get you and i get that thatās the joke but man to me the showās message feels wrong then. What am i suppose to learn from this?

I mean, Cartman is a horrible person and definitely has done way worse things that the other boys. I love Cartman tho one of my favorite characters by far
Idk maybe they just wanted to finally make him pay for all the s***ty things heās done. Not sure how these specials are ācanonā tho (if Iām using that term correctly)

Cartman is way more evil tbf lol
He had someoneās parents ground up into chili and fed it to him
But I like that takeaway that South Park brings out the worst in him

Idk if they are canon.
Idk like i said Cartman is a POS but heās just a kid at the end of the day.
Randy caused covid with f***ing some animal, heās a full grown ass man. Why give him the happy ending, ya know?
Kyle has done just as crazy s*** as Eric before, like for transitioning into a six foot tall basketball player, race change and everything
