Yeah I agree. Loved him but needed like a little less of him
Also ned dead his soulmate bro remember him off an handshake
Meanwhile mj done care at all
How so?
random shot in the dark. they didnt really give context on how the tracker works, it seemed like it was based on sightings. i have no real theory behind it

My first impression was he remember him, or he realized at the moment Peter was Spider-Man

No I think the film spells it out kinda
At beginning when we meet him he says he has loads of memories of Spiderman but doesnt know who he is but wants to thank him
Then when MJ calls him peter and he's like ohhh his real names peter
And then when peter re-introduces himself and then the handshake is like muscle memory he is instantly joining the dots.
He doesn't remember it like 1:1 but he he puts a face to all his memories.
The visuals of this film are nuts. I am so glad he is in his suit WITH the mask on for 99% of the film too.
The only part I don't like was the final fight scene cos we saw it already
Film lost me after it explored jeans backstory
I really liked how much Spider-Man hated her (especially after the MJ possession) I almost just wished it was a different villain who could do the same
Chameleon
Chameleon
Not at that scale. Plus we don’t know how weird Sony is about villain usage since Chameleon was used in their Kraven movie.
Would be cool for sure though, but I’m sure Feige mandated the use of Jean in the movie, so I’m gonna evaluate based on how she was used.

Oh yeah not at that scale but again cant help but feel this movie introduced little to no concepts that are isolated to spider mans new york. DODC is x men. Yelena thunderbolts. Hulk Avengers.
The only thing that was more isolated to spider mans new york and easy reoccuring character was the police officer which was solid . But I want them to keep introducing characters and locations to spider mans world. its his solo movie.
Hammerhead got a quick cameo but its like there was a light montage of villain cameo . No oscorp. No Job. NO alistair smythe.

Jean was used a lot in short to a point where for some it was too much

its literally because he has the magic .....

Ned part magic thats why
That Tame Impala needle drop got me
I think I’ve officially arrived at the point where I don’t trust Marvel anymore
if it took you this long then you still love them
Eh, I feel like Felicia should be a major part of a film rather than someone feeding him info
Like with him and MJ not getting back together, I guess he’s something like in Spider-Man five. He’s influenced by the symbiote while simultaneously meeting black cat who helps him go down a darker path of heroics. So instead we could see the bad influence Felicia can be, but then maybe by the end of the movie we see that she does have good in her. Q
I know comic fans want to see the symbiote for Secret Wars so bad but logically after this movie where we already see him lose control some. He has no friends. Still no job. Just isolated. I dont know how much sense an evil suit makes besides fan service . But a lot of what they are currently doing is more focused on fan service than story telling in my opinion so
The use of the Hand in this movie took a second for me to wrap my head around.
But thinking that they are disparate remnants of The Hand looking for a leader a decade after the events of The Defenders works. They're in rebuild mode and have a service to offer. I could see this opening a door in Born Again Season 3 for Elektra to take over.

Yeah that's how I feel about the introduction of Jean Gray in this movie when there's really not an interesting cast of mutants in the 616 world right now. Chameleon sounds like the more logical choice for this movie. Spider-Man has too many good villains to be pulling Jean Gray as a villain.
I’m glad he didn’t have a mentor
He still blindly listened to everything William Metzger said . Which was baffling. Because that is one lesson I needed him to take from trusting every man that was introduced to him in the home trilogy. It only clicked for him when MJ said something
