I assumed it was Black Suit Spidey they were hinting at, not Venom

I got the 2nd > 1st simply cuz they knew what movie they were in. Venom 1 felt like it was tryna take itself seriously and failed

My personal head canon is that even though the actors reprised their roles from different Spider-Man movies, the events for those specific villains may have played out slightly differently than what we saw in the old franchises.

For example if there are infinite universes electro is from a universe almost identical to ASM2 or whatever but in that universe he did learn who Peter Parker was.

Might be an asspull but I like to focus on how things could work rather than how they don’t and the multiverse makes handwaving stuff like this easy

The whole movie about seeing villains cured so they can go back to their lives and universes be happy . We see them cured for all of 2 minutes and don’t see them back in their universes
