My personal head canon is that even though the actors reprised their roles from different Spider-Man movies, the events for those specific villains may have played out slightly differently than what we saw in the old franchises.

For example if there are infinite universes electro is from a universe almost identical to ASM2 or whatever but in that universe he did learn who Peter Parker was.

Might be an asspull but I like to focus on how things could work rather than how they don’t and the multiverse makes handwaving stuff like this easy

If they do venom next what was the point of spider man appearing evil , having court and conflict of not killing villains ? He was really going to kill goblin for killing aunt may after the whole plot of curing them and him not knowing whether any of the villains killed the other Parker’s significant others

If Tom Spidey makes a guest appearance in future Venom / SonyVerse movies, I’m honestly fine with that

But if Venom goes into future Spider-Man movies? I f***in hope not. Hope Feige plays hard ball and doesn’t allow it

bro I enjoyed the TASM series and that was much more gritty and edgy take on the character. they can do what they want with spiderman so long as they don't remove or completely alter what makes spiderman, spiderman.

Seen Venom 1 and thought it was one of the worst movies I ever watched

I’ve heard some say Venom 2 was better and some say it was worse. I haven’t seen 2 cus I wasn’t tryna have my first theater experience back since the pandemic started be some s***ty movie lol

All I was saying is Spiderman is more than what you value in the character it's why he's one of the most enduring characters in fiction.

It's fine to not like Homecoming but the idea it isn't a Spiderman movie just elicited me giving an example of how different Spiderman can be.

Spiderman Noir is way more different but he's still Spiderman and even made it to the films.
