Lol I already see people changing their opinions on the film because of the news coming out
They just dudes that base their personality on what they see on Twitter for the day
Pay them no mind
Lol I already see people changing their opinions on the film because of the news coming out
Why? How you could NOT think this was the case.
Look at the f***ing movie.
It takes Pixar 5-7 years to make their s***, and it has a consistent visual style and usually clocks in around 90 minutes.
Across the spiderverse & TLOU2
crunch & making underpaid animators/devs leave while making 10/10 sequels
That June date Sony set aside might really be for this and not Spidey 4 lmao
Nothing great ever got made by working normal hours
You have to go above and beyond
I don’t feel bad about people who get to work on one of the biggest movies in the world
This is how writers strike affects movies even when the script has been completed cause more likely than not it’ll need revisions
It was worth it. Lord and Miller wrote a masterpiece.
There’s a difference between unreasonable crunch and putting in those extra hours when you’re near the end of the project to get it done
The movie / tv / video game industry needs to find the right balance and PAY THE F***IN CREATIVES WHAT THEY DESERVE
Absolutely s***ty to people to schedule it for March in the first place if it's not ready at all.
They've known for years at this point that BTSV couldn't make March if this is true.
And that's F***ED
I meannnn, you can’t make a movie of this quality without working your ass off
Yeah I'm on the stance of this is a movie you stick with or don't.
It took 5 years to make this s***. Any schedule change or pace would not have made any difference if Miller was making changes towards the end of production lol
Halo 2 was made with crunch cause they overshot how much they could get done. Some projects are made without oversight of how ambitious it is
no offence but maybe some of the animators who walked off were just weak willed, the industry ain’t for everyone
you don’t get to be one of the most ambitious animated films ever made without cracking a few spirits
