Certainly not for the best character arc and certainly not for the best internal/external conflicts of the main characters and for sure not the best emotional journeys for the main characters…so what could it be?

The Cosmic Circus has learned, via a number of sources, that two of the Spider-Men set to appear in the upcoming Spider-Verse sequel are Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man and the Spider-Man from the highly popular Playstation game of the same name.

As of now, there is no word as to whether or not Tom Holland would return to voice his Peter Parker for this. However, we’ve been told that the character in that film and the one from the previous MCU installments are the same.

The same can be said for Yuri Lowenthal’s Spider-Man. The character from the Playstation game and the one in the film are the same. And given his incredible voice-acting experience, Lowenthal will likely reprise his role for the film.

According to one source, there have been discussions about incorporating Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men as a cameo. Although it is not confirmed whether they will be added in for Across the Spider-Verse or be saved for the next sequel, Beyond the Spider-Verse.

This same source has also disclosed that similar discussions have taken place for Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes, potentially to reprise their roles from the Spectacular Spider-Man and the 90s Animated Spider-Man series, respectively.
