Could not care less about Tom being in this.
Give us Josh Keaton's Spectacular Spider-Man NOW. Give us a FINALE to that storyline DAMN IT

This same source has also disclosed that similar discussions have taken place for Josh Keaton and Christopher Daniel Barnes, potentially to reprise their roles from the Spectacular Spider-Man and the 90s Animated Spider-Man series, respectively.

Yeah, I know lol. I'm just saying that confirmation of Tom is nothing to me like confirmation of Spectacular Spidey.
OH S***TTTTT
The Cosmic Circus has learned, via a number of sources, that two of the Spider-Men set to appear in the upcoming Spider-Verse sequel are Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man and the Spider-Man from the highly popular Playstation game of the same name.
As of now, there is no word as to whether or not Tom Holland would return to voice his Peter Parker for this. However, we’ve been told that the character in that film and the one from the previous MCU installments are the same.
The same can be said for Yuri Lowenthal’s Spider-Man. The character from the Playstation game and the one in the film are the same. And given his incredible voice-acting experience, Lowenthal will likely reprise his role for the film.
.
According to one source, there have been discussions about incorporating Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Men as a cameo. Although it is not confirmed whether they will be added in for Across the Spider-Verse or be saved for the next sequel, Beyond the Spider-Verse.

cope
yess...overhyped..
It was a very cool animated film, but people acting like it's the best Spidey media they ever consumed or ever will consume.
Like I get the whole stylistic choices, and comic book text bubbles, and authentic ink dots and different framerates and blabla
just doesn't do it for me
Live action will just always be more impressive and no the f*** it isn't better than No Way Home or Spidey 1 or Spidey 2
Spider-Verse is better than No Way Home in every single way possible
And I like NWH
The film has absolutely everything that a great Spiderman story needs to be great
There is a very very good reason why ITSV is regarded by many to be THE Spiderman film
People wanna be different so bad, real Spider-Man fans understand Spiderverse is on a different plane of existence compared to the MCU films

It's not, that title belongs to Spectacular Spider-Man
But as far as the Spider-Man movies go, Spider-Verse is the most concise and poignant a Spider-Man movie has been. On top of that it shatters the notion that Spider-Man has to be a straight white dude from Queens.
Scenes like these have meant more to me than anything in any of the other Spider-Man movies.
It's not just about the action and the stylistic choices. But it's the character moments ESPECIALLY in the "What's Up Danger?" scene. The final scene of the movie in general gets me emotional every time I watch the movie.

Compared to every Spider-Man film tbh
Spider-Verse is better than No Way Home in every single way possible
And I like NWH
NWH is the worst live action Spider-Man film so that isn't saying much
