WeezyFthuggayess...overhyped..
It was a very cool animated film, but people acting like it's the best Spidey media they ever consumed or ever will consume.
Like I get the whole stylistic choices, and comic book text bubbles, and authentic ink dots and different framerates and blabla
just doesn't do it for me
Live action will just always be more impressive and no the f*** it isn't better than No Way Home or Spidey 1 or Spidey 2
Spider-Verse isn’t held to that level because of any of the things you said tho. It’s all cause of story, script, character and dialogue

Nov 24, 2022No way home and the first spider verse are both tied 1a and 1b for best Spider-Man movie to me for a lot of the same reasons they’re great homages to themselves and other Spider-Man and broth a huge love letter to Spider-Man in general that’s great

I’m not gonna lie, I kinda just want a relatively straight forward Spider-Man movie in this style.
