FRIDAY
Usually i choose Dolby because of the quality seats but f*** it . imax is a cool packed experience on release weeknd plus i think it looks a little cleaner
The fact that the first movie made under $400 million and this one could double it.
Hell, depending on word of mouth it could go beyond that even.
Feel like WOM for this is gonna be crazy.
This about to crush the box office. I can tell the hype is real when YouTube recommends leaked scenes
just got done watching this not too long ago..... thoughts...
Pros - Gorgeous film, more so then the first in almost every regard
Cons- it feels like this movie is one big first and second act....
the film doesn't feel complete, the cliff hanger is not at all good to me, does not feel remotely like it's own complete story like into the spider verse does. like for example infinity war is a complete story on it's own accord that felt satisfying with a cliff hanger that earns investment and big interest for the next film but you could end it there and feel satisfied as is.
Miguel's ideology fits for his character perfectly but i don't really buy that an entire army of spidermen would follow his ideology. this requires more spoilers to go into, maybe i'll rant about this in spoiler thread later.... felt off. didn't buy it at all.
some easter egg cameo characters felt off and didn't feel fitting for the film.
overall a 9/10 to me, amazing experience still.
I’ve seen people on Twitter saying they love the ending
Streets are saying no
good good
Got my 4DX ticket for tonight. So f***ing excited. The first one is a top 10 animated film for me

Was thinking of going to the Mall of GA to see it for this reason but it’s too far. But for Oppenheimer tho👀👀

I've been there once but forgot they had a theater . that s*** far asf from me too, I got lucky with the theater in morrow having everything.
Spider-Man movies really have been consistent since Homecoming

But… but….. but…. Iron boy jr

This was amazing, like easily the most creative animated movie I have ever seen. All my friends loved it as well, only complaint from a few of them I guess was the ending being THAT but honestly I am not that bothered by it.
I don't think it's as 'perfect' as ITSV but I personally like it way more.
It's definitely like Empire Strikes Back and it's one of the few times I agree with reviews saying that for a sequel.
Point with spoilers:
Surprised they pulled a TASM 2 Electro with Spot. Wasn't really one my complaints with TASM 2, neither is it here but I'm surprised more people didn't talk about it in their reviews.
Last movie we went to was Fast X and that s\*\*\* ended with a cliffhanger as well, but I feel they pulled it off way better here.
Jesus Christ this wait is unbearable
Thought this was gonna be hyperbole but nope the movie was genuinely mind-blowing animation wise. Nothing like it, did feel a bit overwhelming at times with so much happening on the screen though.
3 hours baby

The animation looks truly incredible..
these movies are more a celebration of Comics/animation than it is a "PERFECT SPIDERMAN MOVIE"
quintessential Spidey stories aren't just always multiverse shenanigans and universe hopping
feels like the thought process behind these movies was:
"how many random different spider-men can we get and how much comic-booky s*** can we throw at the screen in one frame to get all the nerds to wet their pants"
