How do you feel about the first film

Loved it. Mostly because it came out of nowhere. Rewatched it again this week to prep.

This movie isn’t bad. But it’s like.. a lot? Idk I still need to process. As people said, the sound mixing is bad somehow and it’s hard to hear some parts. And little things like the subtitles/captions are there too fast to comprehend while SO much is going on on screen.

It was f***ing gorgeous and awe inspiring. Like, as an artist, I was dumbfounded. But the pacing was strange. And action wasn’t as great as I expected based off early reviews.

I like it, but honestly felt underwhelmed. I’ll see it again, though. When it was working, it was working. Other times were iffy.

Honestly I’m leaning more towards this after my first watch…

Anyone calling this classic after being out for 48 hrs is trippin lol.

Ignoring Gwen's story, the conflict, action sequences, character building, wonderful character interactions, and animation to just call it empty calories
