This was great...loved the animation, story was well done, score was also great (Miguel's music was just as dope as Prowlers in the first one), and the easter eggs were fun while not being too distracting

Character development must mean nothing to you if you think nothing happened in this movie

Is the WGA strike likely gonna effect Beyond’s release? 9 months out you’d think it was just post-production left, but animated films especially can be pretty fickle.

I would not doubt if it gets pushed back it'd be more as a sign of solidarity with writers than the film not being completed.

The Animation Guild is under a different contract than the WGA, so the Strike won’t affect it whatsoever.

Only way it would be delayed is if they need more time for production or if the studio starts shifting around release dates of live action films as a result of the Strike

No, you just don’t like what happened. The plot of Infinity War is pretty barebones basic, but that doesn’t mean nothing happened in the entire movie

Well I mean we do have to remember that this is an animated superhero movie targeted towards children and teens. So a lot of tropes will be present and they're more often than not gonna be generic. Doesn't necessarily make them bad, especially if they're presented in a way that leads to cool and heartfelt moments between characters.

Miles and Gwen's development I guess can be "generic" or seen before, but even then it was still well executed. Their friendship and the relationship being built between the two feels very real. Shows the impact of how keeping secrets from one another can cause strains, distrust, and disconnects. But also why people keep secrets from one another as a means of protection.

End of the day they're both just kids who have dealt with a lot of loss and trauma in their lives, finally finding people they can relate to and bond with. Most times tryna make the best of a bad/weird situation

Call it a generic trope if you want, but it does work, and both characters are still very well done
