I have been curating these playlists for 5 years! The problem is is that I’m constantly listening to new albums and projects that I never really sit and just bump one of my playlists! I just feel like I’m collecting s*** for the sake of it. There’s just too much music out there.
like or favorite songs that i like, make hella playlists, some artist specific ones. you can make categories for playlists in desktop
so peep this. i’m an apple guy but I’ve been digging the recommendations and UI of spotify recently this is where apple music falls flat on its face
BUT tf this 10k song limit thing is a pain in the ass. as an ALBUM listener, I have to be conscious of adding stuff to my library cos I’ll be hitting the limit in no time
so I wanna know how y’all get around that as album listeners or people that like to have an organised library? do you curate your own personal library through the playlist tab? let me know
I want the balance of good recommendations as a constant music digger and being an album listener through and through. it’s giving me OCD
with Spotify, you don’t have a library. you just listen to premade playlists. it’s truly WOAT if you care about the music you listen to
AM is the only streaming service that’s optimized for people who want a personal experience with their libraries

nah we good, spotify users cleared it up for me
I have a playlist with all the songs I've ever liked
I created it back in December of 2012 and currently has over 5,755 songs (366 hours 2 min)
I just have one huge playlist of songs that I like. And I just listen to albums when I want to
This, and I put that b**** on shuffle
what is this????
you can add folders for playlists in Spotify which is useful organization if you have 100s of playlists like I do
I save the albums and not the songs. Listen primarily thru album tab not through saved

Do you have the issue where the local tracks in your playlists go grey and get skipped when queued?

Lol you've definitely never had Spotify if you think big rap fans are listening to Rap Caviar
I dont. My s*** unorganized as hell. My only playlist is the liked song one lmfao
I'm worse
Have a 12 album rotation that I meticulously have to swap albums in and out of because recently played is what I organize my Spotify with
Spotify is the best streaming service overall for anyone that doesn't have an iPhone and a Mac
Local files is the only big area that needs improvement
Wish they'd fix albums, sometimes album go missing from my saved tab and I've lost so much cause of that bs and it was the only way I keep track of stuff from years back
Now I just add songs to playlists with their own occasions like gym, night drive, pop etc. It's still a clutter so I don't maintain them as much as I used to and just throw them into folders

i do the same thing too
i used to make playlists, now I’m to lazy to do that and just like the songs and keep the rotation going.

No man
I got year based playlists, I got my 2016 S***, 2017 S***, etc. Anything I was constantly listening to during those times go in the playlist, and then when the year ends the stuff that was added late in the year makes it to the next playlist.
Other than that I have "GOAT" playlists of every genre I listen to, as well as Gaming, Gym, and Relaxing playlists.
