EA Earnings Call was today.

They said BFII is still selling well and believes it due to quality updates. Celebration Edition far exceeded expectations. This is all good news, could mean support for longer.

JFO sold 8 million copies and is projected to sell 10+ by March. They said that the sales have shown them there’s in interest in single player focused games and that due to this success, they’re looking to expand their Star Wars projects to please all fans and not just multiplayer.

Are we ever gonna get Starkiller Base or Crait for Supremacy?

It’s weird that they initially did mention Starkiller, maybe they forgot to add it in today’s CT or are saving it for down the line. Doubtful on Crait though since they abandoned the HvV map (something people have found in files and have working).

Would really enjoy some new reinforcements for the OT update

I wouldn’t be surprised if we got them. DICE seem far more invested in creating reinforcements than heroes at the moment. I hope OT reinforcements are the last because I’d rather them spend their time creating new maps and heroes as we’ve been getting reinforcements for 10 months.

I played BB8 for maybe 30 minutes. Found him to be ok but he’s not a great hero.

Agreed they should’ve added Poe and hux. Not mad at it tho that spin move is lethal with the level 5 star card

They said it’s harder to make a blaster hero than a lightsaber one. I assume they made these just because they wanted to make advantage of the tech they had for the Droideka’s.

My favorite game of the last few years but I’m a huge Star Wars fan. The best of all the battlefront games imo plus they‘ve been very consistent with content updates

It’s a far cry from the game that launched in 2017. They fixed the progression system which was the biggest problem when the game launched, only micro-transactions are skins but you can also buy them with in game credits, there’s updates to the game every month with new content, DLC is free, it has a healthy player count and the game is always on sale, you can probably find it for $20 and for that price you can’t go wrong.

Same here one of my most played games on the gen by a long shot but I’m a huge Star Wars fan. They made some awesome changes but the game could always be better especially with some of the animation fighting bugs (graphics are immense though so hard to blame them). Probably second best battlefront game behind battlefront 2 2005
