Man I would've loved for this movie to get delayed for 1-2 years so they could actually take their time.

This trilogy had some unique characters and ideas but it didnt quite stick the landing.

Also bringing back Palpatine should've never even been considered, he was the ultimate evil in the OT and PT, give him a rest.

Rewatched with the fam we were clowning it the whole time. Dont even know the best part of the movie tbh maybe when Luke lifted the lightsaber out of the water (lowkey made my song cry first watch) and all the parts with him and Leia

Just watched Rise of Skywalker for the first time.

It was pretty cool. Not perfect but that’s not JJ’s fault. They didn’t plan this trilogy out. They made everything up as they go.

It was good. Could have been better.

I didn't watch Ep 9 last night but I watched the making of doc and when you watch it, you can tell that they really, genuinely thought they had one. It doesn't just feel like a studio fluff piece. What the hell happened.

They’re good at pretending like they have everything in control.

JJ and Terrio should have taken Colin's script and rework it, the right ideas were there. Instead they started from 0 and worked on that s*** for 3 or 4 months, the editor of the movie had to start her job while production was happening (first time for a JJ movie) that's how tight they were on time

Maybe it was an ego thing and they said f*** CT, Disney still had to still CT and his writing partner to not get sued and cover their asses
