Just rewatched Rise of Skywalker and it’s worse than I remember. Might be the worse paced film of all time

Even the title is f***ing stupid.
she's 100% right and it's only been getting worse
scrolled down for 2 seconds before coming across this bullshit
Damn this would've been fire
It makes sense that this film was originally going to drop after episode 9 since Rey was originally gonna be a Kenobi
I guess the failure of Solo derailed all of that which is even dumber considering no one asked for a f***ing Han Solo movie. Star Wars needs new management

Half of these shows and movies aren’t needed. Obi Wan, Boba, Han, etc didn’t need more story.

They changed almost all of the main characters back story in the final movie. Poe went from an army brat to a d*** runner. Rey was a nobody now all of a sudden Palpatines, who’s still alive, clone.

I get that but I'm speaking on what the fans want and why Solo failed. The fans definitely wanted more Obi Wan considering people love Ewan's portrayal of the character and he was still ready to play the role. There could of been a good story told in that gap of time between episode 3 and 4 dealing with PTSD as a war veteran who lost everything. Boba Fett literally had a small minuscule role where he was mostly played up as a joke even to his supposed death. A movie/series for him could've given us insight into his character and also made up for how he was treated in episode 6 so I understand why fans really wanted that. Han Solo though? I've never seen any fans desiring a movie/film on his origin. Idk how Disney was surprised that it underperformed
I know he gave his vocal likeness to Disney but Disney better f***ing not use AI James’ voice for Vader. Find another actor

Nah she’s 14 in TPM, he’s 9-10. So in Episode II when the romantic relationship beings, he’s 20 and she’s 24.
Compare to that to ANH when Han is like 32 and Leia is 19 which makes it worse when ya realize the Solo movie and Obi-Wan show are set in the same time period and Han is like 21 and she’s like 10.

I heard this will comprise episodes 10-12 of The Skywalker Saga that began with George Lucas’s 1977 first film that along with Steven Spielberg’s Jaws reshaped the global blockbuster game. Insiders disputed my intel that Kinberg will continue that storyline, saying this will instead begin a new saga and sits alongside Star Wars percolating projects with James Mangold, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, Taika Waititi, and Donald Glover. As usual, Lucasfilm and Disney are not commenting.
Only good things he wrote were Days of Future Past (with help from Matthew Vaughn) and... that's all I can think of
Edit: He also co created and wrote on Star Wars Rebels so...?

He was around Lucasfilm a lot in the earlier days of the Disney acquisition. Besides Rebels, he was a creative consultant on TFA and also has a credit for Rogue One (for what I don't know)
Still a terrible idea imo.
fully expect this to go through at least 6 different writers, 4 different directors, at least 5 delays
kathleen kennedy special
Aww hell nah
We need a break from SW movies until at least the 2030s
