Seeing it again Tuesday
Saturday night was incredible. The opening battle of Coruscant was exhilarating and witnessing Battle of the Heroes on the big screen was insane. That Anakin Vs. Dooku tracking shot>>> The audience was clapping and cheering at the end.
The mixture of practical sets and CGI is still incredible 20 years later. So much imagination that hasn’t been replicated in SW since from the industrial platforms of Mustafar to the bone structure architecture of Utapau. If Empire is the best adventure/hero’s journey story in SW, then ROTS is the best example of grand sci-fantasy where Star Wars’s mythological elements are firing at the highest degree of operatic intensity.
Crazy to this day, this movie and Dune: Messiah are the only examples of “Greek Tragedy In Space” I can think of.
seeing this in theaters and then dove immediately into rewatching Keno i. Peak
this is gonna inform my Andor S2 watch and ima end it all with R1 right after Andor S2 Finale
Christensen’s admiration for the visionaries behind Star Wars has a long history. And now, as he looks back on the past few decades there’s one night that stands out in his mind. He recalls going on a walk with George Lucas one evening during the filming of Revenge of the Sith. The pair spoke for a while before Lucas eventually offered the young Christensen some advice.
“George ended the conversation by saying to me, ‘Hayden, you can't change the world. It's not possible. All you can do is try to make your own world and then invite other people to be a part of it,’” he says. “It was one of the most profound things that anyone's ever said to me, and it has really informed the way I live my life.”
Seeing this tonight. I so vividly remember talking to my dad the next morning cuz he snuck out to see it on opening night after I went to bed and I was livid he didn’t bring me with him

Shout out to this white boy named David I went to school with in the 5th grade. When ROTS came out, I knew nothing about Star Wars other than “Dark Maul” & “Yoda”. This kid David would tell me about Star Wars movies in such an animated way I begged my brother to get the bootleg cause I knew my parents wasn’t gonna take me to see it
he ended up getting a good rip, ROTS being the first Star Wars movie I watched beginning to end. Kicked off my love of Star Wars
since we’re celebrating the anniversary let’s talk about how we were robbed of a true Obi Wan movie follow up
really did us dirty with that show
Revenge of The Sith is the pinnacle of Star Wars..
it's nonstop-drama, action and tragedy, it has it all
it's not aiming to be safe or perfect instead it has a clear vision it's trying to show you.. it's a political thriller wrapped up in a space soap opera that ends in tragedy, it has a sense of dread underneath the surface that grows until it all collapses
the best special effects, score and sound effects of any of the movies, the upscaled 1080p digital camera and effects look so much better than any of the movies that came before and after.. the special effects look grounded in reality. the visual storytelling is the best out of any blockbuster, it almost reminds me of some more indie movies.
so many of the best moments have no dialogue just pure action or drama
when anakin is just sitting in the jedi council alone trying to make the next move with just the score.. padme looking across the city
the opera scene, the Order 66 montage, and that final Mustafar duel all feel mythic in scale and deeply personal at the same time
40-45 minutes of lightsaber dueling
classic, seeing it in theaters after 2 decades made me feel like a kid again
never watched the obi wan kenobi shows it worth it
Few dope scenes in the finale but VERY ass overall
never watched the obi wan kenobi shows it worth it
I didn’t really like it and I’m a shill so probably not.
Had to log into SWTOR for a lil nostalgia
Might put time aside get Legrndary status. After all these years Sith Warrior and Trooper storylines are the last 2 I’ve yet to do.
Please change the title at least put May 4th or some s*** i’m sick of seeing that movie in the title
