That’s the max penalty tho so I’d assume it’s rare but idk they like to go with the max penalty here in Texas.I just remember growing up extra paranoid with the Texas weed laws. Had to bail out friends who got arrested for .1 grams and s***. And if you made any brownies or anything like that it was considered a concentrate and a felony so we’d never travel with more than an eatable amount

The issue (in terms of diplomacy) with what the US did is that they chose to send their offer out to the media like it was an NBA trade rather than keeping silence and working with Russia. That’s not an acceptable offer in their eyes considering one was already in jail for years and the other just got sentenced. And only one party has public pressure.

The second Russia warned about “microphone diplomacy” ruining talks the US realized the seriousness of this all. Doesn’t help that we already don’t really speak to them much often these days too.
