Yeah the planets from what I understand, aren't fully explorable or there's some extra step to the rendering.
It's not a big deal to me. As long as the content that is there is absolutely fire.
Idk how many people are jogging in one direction for that long without getting bored but gamers these days like buying games like that.

The planets are fully explorable, but you have to land multiple times in different places to see the whole thing, it generates a random amount of interesting stuff wherever you land, with predetermined locations for cities etc
Every time you land it generates a large map with boundaries, but if you land on enough different places you'll be able to explore enough maps to cover the whole surface area
