You guys watching these twitch streams? Who cares about reviews game looks amazing.
NO SNACKING BEFORE THE MEAL

Half a million starfield viewers on twitch rn
The IGN reviewer went into the review wanting to s*** on it

The bias is really there and no one cares lol
You on tonight?
Copped the Premium this morning with the Gamepass discount
Gonna have a steak before playing this tonight
Why are yall comparing Spider-Man and Starfield lol. Microsoft needed this to be their Uncharted 2 moment of the generation.
Also they're both at an 87 lol
I'm sure both are great games but the counterjerk is gonna be as strong as the circlejerk from ppl what did yall expect after MS bought out the publisher
The IGN reviewer went into the review wanting to s*** on it

No he didn’t. He said he came up with that while PLAYING it, it wasn’t until a certain point that he felt it was getting good.
greg miller 'local navigation and maps is abysmal, borderline insulting'
Great
Not even an accurate one though lol
that’s up for debate but I personally think high 80s wouldn’t see this kind of reaction for games like horizon, ghost, etc.
It feels like people are being needlessly over-critical so I’d agree with Kroniic although I’m not sure if that’s a console war thing or a Bethesda thing but Microsoft owns Bethesda now so the lines are gonna get blurrier between the two
Great
"The next nuisance that irritated me no matter where in the Settled Systems I roamed is the fact that there are no actual maps – mini or otherwise – to refer to when you’re on foot. All you get is an extremely low-detail display showing you large points of interest – such as the many abandoned research and mining posts where raiders and robots wait for you to shoot and loot them – and the large swaths of alien wasteland and wilderness that separates them. Within a city, there’s nothing to guide you around beyond shop signs and text-only directories that tell you what stores are located in which district, but not where they actually are."
This is what the fella from IGN said lol
My Todd Howard body pillow is taking a time out in the wardrobe for the next couple of nights, it doesn’t deserve my lavish attention.
Sony spider man - 86 meta critic

Microsoft starfield - 90 metacritic

One of them is the most anticipated games of the decade and the other is a major ps4 exclusive
this is all about expectations
none of these reviews have answered the most important question
can you F***?

By the way normal people reacted to Spider-Man you would think it’s the most anticipated game of the year
wow wut a turn around

Don’t gotta photoshop this.

(Simmer down youngins, it’s only a joke).

anticipation and people being overhyped shouldnt affect reviews
is a game mechanically good
Remnnant 2 I slept on series til it dropped and its simply a good game
Sea of Stars is an indie game that wasn’t being hyped up as a console’s killer app, developed by a major studio that hasn’t dropped a (single player) title in almost a decade.
Also, I never said the game was bad, I haven’t played it, I even just said I plan on buying it eventually, I just never thought it was gonna rock MY world because in hindsight I find a lot of their (Bethesda) titles really shallow, and a lot of really good games have come out since their last that have done a lot for both the RPG and open world genres.
I’ve been consistent as f*** in this for MONTHS.
Right but you have to understand that those games are then reviewed according to those things. So sea of stars getting an 88 is not being reviewed as harshly as when starfield gets an 88 becuase they’re expecting waaay more from it
