No they actually rushed obsidian into releasing it too early and denied them their bonus because the metacritic score was one point too low. In spite of that it's better than any game Bethesda has ever made

they handled the best parts of the game imo, the writing and the lore so it’s def more obsidian tbh

but they aren’t capable of making a captivating game on their own cause the outer worlds was some mid

Only thing that annoys me is having to fast travel to like a planet in the same system unless I’m wrong and you can go there by ship. And same with the structures you can dock on in space. Seems like you gotta fast travel to them and then travel a short distance there.

Menu's are absolute s*** in this game... but so was skyrims and fallouts to a degree

If you open the scanner (LB) while in the pilot seat you can quickly travel to any planet in the system, or if you have a mission in another system you can go there as well. They never explain this but it's a way to travel around without much menus

utilizing the scanner is BIG TIME

I don’t think they’re horrible but yeah they could be better.

Yeah the menus suck. Couldn’t figure out how to save the game. Tutorials sucked too. Haven’t figure out how to quick switch weapons yet

the way the main quest actually plays into the open ended nature of the game and doesn't railroad you into being the lone wanderer

With Fallout it seems like Bethesda are more interested in the apocalypse itself while Obsidian are more interested in how humanity has always persisted in the face of collapse

It's honestly massive and they have yet to explain it as far as I've seen unless I missed it

once you get all your weapons and essential health items favorited its a breeeeeze. it’s really just the star map that could probably use some work

Already know I’m missing so much s***. Gonna have to do NG+ after this first playthrough. Kinda wanna get Baldurs Gate 3 even though I’m not a huge turn based game fan. Reviews too tempting though. What a year for gaming

can also change your perks or skills whatever the first set of things is at the surgeon in new atlantis i believe. at least i had the ability to remove empathy and alien dna
