Thinking about how this was such unmemorable slop that it didn’t penetrate the public conscious at all and was forgotten in a month despite being Bethesda’s first big game in almost a decade

It is wild how not a single character from this game took off at all.
Like, I don’t know the name of a single NPC.
Also saw 0 fan art.
I enjoyed the game
theres not a single person alive still playing this absolute dogshit complete woke flop

Now playing: shattered space with mods
8/10 game imo overhated.
95% of the people complaining wouldn’t fly into planets after doing it a couple times anyways.

I assume after a few years this game will get a new life with mods or a community driven story DLC like Enderal, Fallout London, or something.

Unfortunately, the DLC for this wasn’t even close to being as good as Skyrim’s DLC 😔
I enjoyed this game thoroughly.

Is this game “bad” in the same way that most considered death stranding to be “bad” upon release? Or is it actually just a weak game from Bethesda?

Game is just weak man. It’s interesting for about the first couple of hours and then it eventually exposes itself
Game loop is boring as s***, most of the planets have copy and pasted settlements or whatever to fight through, the powers are really aren’t all that important in the game (and the way to get them is extremely tedious after the second or third time really)
The story isn’t bad but it can’t make up for the really lackluster gameplay imo
Had a lot of potential they just didn’t really execute it well

I wish, this game is just weirdly absent of memorable characters, compelling missions, fun gameplay systems, etc.
It’s all bones no meat, I had some fun with it but there wasn’t much to chew on

If you just stick to the quests and such its good, and some missions are very memorable. The natural exploration and discovery of classic bethesda games is basically non existant tho. The game isnt bad its just no where near what we expect from them.

It’s worth nothing that classic Bethesda games always have at least a few must-play DLCs, that’s missing here.
The first expansion for starfield was a huge miss, I have no clue what to expect from the 2nd, but I doubt they can save it and I probably won’t even buy it, which says a lot. I love Bethesda.

It was very disappointing to me. Dry characters, repetitive areas, loading screens everywhere, bare bone missions. It was so disappointing, it turned me from a Skyrim hater to one who 100%’d that game for fun
