Now that we are almost at the season finale & after watching episodes multiple times, I really don’t think the writing was that bad for this spinoff. I came in with a bias hating how they did the last couple season of the original. Book II has been good. I love all the characters minus the professors. Tariq maturing the way he is now has been great to see. I like how things are shaping up

This episode was dope asf imo. I’m actually thirsty for the season finale. Cane is just..... I ain’t go lie, Tariq done gained so much respect from me. I was one of those fans but as time went on I realize he’s just a product of his parents and you can’t even get mad at that.

One thing I was hoping for was them sorta giving Rico (Jackie Long) a build up before the inevitable. Someone coming up from New York deep with Ar-15s in retaliation for D.C. Joe has to have a crazy backstory.

Also with Guap saying that he got that product off Rico and that he -- Rico was looking for a new Distributor and Dianne saying they were hit up cause Cane left is begs to question does Rico in FACT know about Cane and Guap being connected. Because Cane ask him where he got that product from.

Plus Rico has to know given Cane his with the yellow tape activities and always on go-mode he will retaliate. And given how Lorenzo is I'm wondering if this means in the finale they 'Zo and Cane come to and alliance.

The GTG angle sorta confuses me because you get lost in who's the members . Who's the higher levels/lower levels.

If Rico doesnt know about Cane and only intent on working with Guap then this proves useful to Cane because he will know Rico next move through Guap. I mean it ol heavy jawed big Paul wall grill having Guap and hes basically cant hold water and just a higher level flunky that gets punched on in every other episode.
