All bro had to do was wait it out. Talking bout “mOM i wANt My pIStoL”
A pistol wasn't even gonna fight them niggas so I didn't even understand that s***. And that nigga ran straight up? I'm like yea ok
Loving Mary J in this though. She really hasn't even turned up yet
Is it bad if I really can identify with Cane? Man that "You made me this way" hit home
Not at all. A lot of people view can as some fictional villain but his upbringing is the way a lot of violent men become what they are. Pops is hardened and shows you know love & he's behind bars, mom puts you through hell trying to make you into a "man." I grew up with so many Cane type individuals seeing that scene in the last episode was kinda like damn because of how much I have witnessed that s*** and the routes people like that take.
I can identify with Drew more honestly, being soft, kind, etc but people trying to force you to be hard and be something I know i'm absolutely not. Both of them have it bad and thats not even mentioning Diana who is basically a slave to her mom's word.
That whole family is a sad reality of a lot.
Bro is Dru missing some brain cells? Why would you just run towards open fire nigga?
Talking bout “mom I must go get my piece”
Drew no, Writers yes. Lol. I think that was my only real complaint about this episode because that made 0 sense to me
Paige Hurd is cool but she's really barely in the show. Lauren really ain't been doing anything but hanging with her boyfriend and pissing off this nigga Tariq.
That’s fine that’s my wife. She don’t need any s***scenes

Exactly, like at least have the nigga be shooting it out. Bro stood straight up in incoming fire
And tbh I hate her acting in this show. Like an even worse version than cookie from Empire. And essentially another version of Tasha too.

Absolutely there are a lot of truths on this show sometimes back to back.. it just hits me. Cane, as violent as he is, I can tell he's fiercely loyal to the game that he was taught by Monet. That s*** is real. Some say Cane is a new and improved Kanan.. to me he's more of what Ghost and Tasha didn't want Tariq to become. Its getting good

Thats a really good take. I agree with you he's definitely more the product of what Ghost didn't want for Tariq vs him actually being Kanan.

Yeah bro he’s seemed smarter than that this whole season. Like seems like the one with his head on straight.
“And then as a rage of bullets from AR-15s continue to spray the entire building, Dru makes a heroic effort to run towards it. Unfortunately he is a human and not Neo and is unable to dodge any bullet and instead gets instantly hit by them leaving the viewers to wonder ‘why the f*** did he do that?”
Sad part is someone actually wrote something like that in the script for this.

Lmao I genuinely believe it
Caine’s character >>>>>
The acting from Woody could be better. I liked the “this how you made me” line but didn’t think Woody delivered it the best.

They just had to get rid of a nigga, it's all good
Also they need to do better with props on set. Im being nitpicky again but something that annoys me from episode 8 when Cane is at that girls house hiding out is when he's sitting on the steps you can tell thats a fake set of steps with complete brick wall behind him and nothing more
That’s fine that’s my wife. She don’t need any s***scenes
I ain't say anything about s***scenes, her character is just not really in the show and doesn't really have any influence over the plot or even the main character.
They just had to get rid of a nigga, it's all good
If that’s the case They should of just had him get hit when they first started shooting. Like bam they start spraying, everyone takes cover then once it dies down and they drive off they check to see if everyone ok but Dru laid out on the ground hit
Woulda been way better than him being ducked down perfectly fine talking to his mom like a 1-brain cell kid “mom me want gun me want gun now” and then run out in a blaze a glory to be instantly gunned down
Is it bad if I really can identify with Cane? Man that "You made me this way" hit home
I'm disappointed that he acting out cus his dad set him straight. Niggas gotta respect the heirarchy. But nah Tariq gotta kill this nigga.

I can't say that was my reaction on that scene.

I know you didn’t but other niggas was in her wishing for her to be a w****

He is definitely an enigma. But lowkey when you look back at it? Monet started that too, along with Diana. When Diana took Tariq strap and gave it to Monet, then Monet took Cane strap and gave it to Tariq? Man I knew it was going bad. Agree with you on respecting the heirarchy tho, thats mando!!
Look wise Paige Hurd is damn near perfect to me, like 100% my type from her face to her body.
We all like looking at phat asses on IG but I prefer the natural more than anything. Plus she got the thick lips all these hoes keep nip tucking themselves for.

I wonder here and there if Lorenzo is Cane's biological father but at the same time Diana and Cane have similar shades

Well you keep talking about her looks, so that says more to the thread than what your words are saying. Advice from an OG

Yea if I was at the club and I saw her or the Brushandria type girl.. I'm stepping to the Paige type

It’s just my celeb crush bro. I know her character doesn’t do much for the show

Yeah I thought that was some real ass s*** how they played that.
Cane is a dog but this nigga stepped outta line. You can't hit the mom.
The dad spoke to that nigga on some real s***, but did not let that transgression go unpunished.
But then the mom called the dad and said aye nigga don't touch my son like that no more.
Everyone played they role. That was some real ass s***. That family is tight. Cane too young to see that s*** though.
