I really hoped Universal would wait until Disclosure Day’s release to focus on promo for The Odyssey, but this movie got thrown under the bus completely. Awareness and hype are nowhere near as you would think for a summer Spielberg blockbuster.

I think people were hoping for a gigantic true crowd pleaser again like close encounters from early reactions but now it’s becoming more evident this will be more weird and personal like his recent work and that might be why some people feel underwhelmed
