You realize lockdowns were never to completely halt the spread of the virus only to try and not overwhelm ICU bed capacity right? And only just now is california running into capacity issues. They would have ran into the limit months back.

This is the problem with a virus. You do all the right things and people say "why did we do all this s*** it wasn't even that bad!" Like no s*** it's BECAUSE we locked down.

By the way states that imposed strict restrictions early on had fewer deaths in the long run compared to ones that did not. Proof that they do work. And by work I mean limit deaths and hospitalizations not eradicate the virus

Fast Forward to present day Not only has the spread not slowed, but niggas still want lockdowns which means closed businessess and less jobs
