Will the price of living go up, would people who's jobs require them to have a certain degree or certification get a raise to compensate?
why do you just assume col will go up
Would it have pained them to just give us the $2000 like it was originally proposed?
why do you just assume col will go up

Would it have pained them to just give us the $2000 like it was originally proposed?

why do you just assume col will go up
I'm not assuming, I'm asking because I would like it not to be the case. Have this actually make some what of a substantial difference.
WE NEED STUDENT DEBT CANCELLATION
This would help the economy but politicians owned by these guys
America will never have a $15 minimum wage i dont believe that for a second
F*** a minimum wage make inflation slow down or decrease taxes for middle class people

I agree we need $15 minimum wage but it should be interesting to see what the effects are. Cost of living could potentially increase, especially in areas where landlords could raise rent now that people get paid much more on average. Also some people could potentially get laid off now that wages could potentially double in some areas, so some small businesses might struggle to employ the same workforce. Also good chance of inflation in general so it won't feel like you're getting paid more
Needs to be raised though

nah too late taxes are going to go up for those who make under 75k

there are certain truths to the "costs will go up" argument but this is probably one of the examples where that won't be the case simply because many institutions are currently getting more money from bailouts/stimulus than they are actual payments because of how whimsically lopsided the economy currently is, it wouldn't make sense for them to raise prices when the point of the stimulus is to give people money to spend to institutions; institutions can't raise prices when the point of giving people money is they don't have the money to give to the institutions to begin with

Just saying minimum wage is not even close to important
This nigga just saying s***
Just like how he said they were going to forgive 50k in student loan debt and then backtracked hella fast
