I did that my last year of college(edit last yr living on campus) . I was 4 years older than the stupid bros I was living with. They were so dramatic over everything I just noped out of socializing w them. They'd get stupid drunk and fight eachother and throw s*** like tvs outside. Bizarre to watch

Yo that's exactly what the previous people who lived here were like,I'm guessing this man got sick of that s*** and isolated himself cause apparently the neighbors would call the cops every week cause of mad parties

tbh. i did have a bad experience with my first neighbour since movng in this student appartment (the cops would knock on his door ever 2 weeks). i tried the friendly thing cuz thats what ur supposed to do. but that dude was such a psycho that i decided to not socialize with neighbours again. my life & inner peace has been smooth sailing since.

And yeah I get that at some point you get exhausted and wanna protect your peace,and you have all the right to do that

he had mental issues but didnt want to seek treatment. health professionals would literally knock on his door to ask him to talk about it, but he'd refuse and only get angry.

Probably leave him alone. I've been in situations where people thought I was weird because of how quiet I am and they would constantly ask me questions/try to talk to me and it would just make me super uncomfortable.

I mean lowkey if I was renting a room with people I’d just stay in my room tbh. But that’s just me.
