So, it’s pretty obvious Netflix tried to turbo-charge Stranger Things into a MCU / Game of Thrones level franchise. Personally, I think the Duffer Bros went off the rails with Season 5.

So, what would be a good way to make this bigger?

I think Stranger Things works best like Spider-Man, the stakes are very personal. Can Spider-Man defeat Kingpin AND make it to his date with MJ? Can the kids rescue their friend and convince the town the Hell Fire Club didn’t kill those kids?
