The problem with Lily is she’s TOO simplistic of a character without much going for her. Her strategy is basically keep wind stocks on deck and use them to get through fire balls, for combos, or to stay safe on block. Without wind stocks she has nothing. Her mediums and pokes don’t convert into combos, you can get a DP after LP which is ass. Condor spire after LP is only safe if you have wind stock. Her DP whiffs a lot and isn’t invincible. Her normals are lowkey ass for a character that should be efficient with pokes. You have to be REALLY good to make her work. I think I can get her to Plat soon but it’s an uphill battle. She’s definitely bottom 2 as of right now

Gold Luke, Lily, and Manon now. Could have probably placed Plat with Luke but fumbled a couple of games I shouldn’t have.

My skill level is definitely upper gold/lower plat right now. I’m figuring things out.

She doesn't play the game correctly The top 5 characters in the game have big damage into oki/mixup constantly. If she goes for big damage aka command grabs she loses oki and is forced to play neutral again. If she goes for Oki she does little to no damage. And she has no reversal other than her supers so you have to play perfect because once you get knocked down vs a good player its almost always a wrap unless they f*** up

If you're gonna play Manon you have to get good at reading Perfect Parrys and your neutral has to be on point

Game's too good, 100+ hours after a month of play, I might need to put it in my freezer or something

They genuinely did it, it's actually scary, incorporated all the best parts from the entire series and took away the ones that sucked, it's the MBDTF of fighting games
