I don’t want to get my hopes up for this ofc but this was more or less what happened with a big bulk of the dlc. G and Sagat were both supposed to come out much later than they did and released together at EVO. A lot of the season 2 characters got bumped up too. The only time DLC didn’t drop early was technically with controversial season 4 and season 5 which wasn’t supposed to happen at all

I desperately need these Lily buffs. She was an unfinished character I’m convinced. So many things wrong with her game that should not be a problem. Her DP isn’t a true DP, her EX doesn’t have invincibility start up when it should, her anti airs are terrible and it’s not s*** you can do against mfs jumping in. It’s a 50/50 every time just guessing if you’re going to get get jabbed into a b&b after jump in or throwed and her buttons suck so much you can’t even punish really if you guess right.
