Word - hell nah, if you're able to get multiple fits off with the same items, you're actually going crazy and really showing some versatility!

That's not to say the same thing can't be true if you have a lot of different stuff/larger wardrobe.

Less is more for me now. I can’t justify buying clothes consistently throughout the year anymore — especially in these times of financial uncertainty. I’ve definitely turned to investing in pieces I know I can wear often and for a long time when I do choose to cop something new. Versatility is right up there with quality imo

With that being said, if I was stupid paid I’d probably have a slightly different attitude about it

Views I understand, but I think standard is a strange idea to apply to the idea of style as it is supposed to be of the individual and if it is truly of the individual I cannot have any set standard to hold them to besides them being true to and masters of themselves.

And if said individual is there, then they can absolutely showcase a fantastic level of style with a small or large wardrobe and both ways would be of great interest to me.

Based off what you're saying it sounds like you'd have more stuff but you'd still be grounded in the same principles even if you were stupid paid (you'd only want quality stuff so you'd only want versatile stuff so expanded financial resources would just allow you to have a larger version of what you're already doing, so the high mastery of style would remain unchanged, just showcased with some new parts).

repetition is fine, some people just have pieces they wear in a lot of fits cause thats just what they wear fr. that's an everyday style, and its how to look fresh without having endless moneybags.

i do wish chase had diff pairs of shoes, but i also think the rest of all the outfits were truly different enough that it didnt feel boring, which was an issue i felt w some of the previous rounds

at the same time tho i didnt really mention it or acct for it when voting in prev rounds when i saw it bc the person might have money issues or something idk abt

youre talking from the perspective of someone running style wars. im speaking from a competitive stand point. someone who participated in the last 3 style wars.

i try / tried to push myself to capture different vibes and use different pieces but like i said, i must have a different standard for myself. i never critiqued or insulted someones style bc they repeated pieces. but rather i want to see 4 different outfits, see ppls range. if you cant do that u dont deserve to win sw imo

20 shoes is hyperbole but maybe a coupla more jackets woulda helped u out r1 ;)
