really appreciate this breakdown bro! i'm inspired to do one of my own now

my fits
1 - probably my favorite i've worn in a while. was going for some kind of takahiro darkwear cowboy thing with the flag/poncho and flared denim. i think a big stupid belt buckle or some kind of hat would tie it together? all the different matte, warm grays and textural details bring enough visual interest to keep it interesting but not too overtly busy. would be down to try it again with leather pants? a concho belt maybe?

2 - kinda on the fence about this one. almost used the same fit with ramones, but i love the way the heels peek out from under the cloak. it's is a super busy piece so i tried to stick to basics underneath but i think it would've faired better with a simple gray sweatshirt instead of the mohair sweater and a simpler bottom half like cargo crops + sock ramones, but that'd definitely be less interesting. i also think the distressed bucket is a little too grungy to be paired with the neat, clean angles of the cloak. probably will try again with shorts or something to up the wacky factor

3 - i think i like these photos a lot more than i like the actual fit, but it's still pretty cute. destroyed hems have a special place in my heart. not much else to say about it. skinny jeans and a leather jacket at the end of the day

4 - already explained my thought process on this one, colors are good, nice and simple. don't think i'd change anything

1 - proportions are solid. jacket is cool. pants have a nice construction but i don't enjoy the contrast stitching. i guess i wish you would venture away from the more workweary stuff and just say f*** it and go more luxe? some issey pants or something like rick tailored cargos would go crazy in your wardrobe. i typically enjoy the muted color scheme + pop of bright color thing you do but i don't love the orange here, maybe yellow or off white would be cool?

2 - glasses are hot!! top half super great! but the bottom does 0 for me. i can fw the double knees but i'm not into the shoes or how they introduce that dingy yellow into an outfit that i don't feel calls for that color. would go crazy with like some white/blue bapestas??

3 - this s*** BANGS until the feet. rick birks? it's like you put together a solid outfit and then you just gotta hans it up by throwing some random colorful s*** in there. dark gray socks would've been clean. would've preferred with some GATS or suicokes or something, i think they suit the way you dress a lot more than the birks

4 - this would've been my favorite just off the strength of that sweater but the longer i look at it the less i like the 3 different shades of green. don't dig the shoes but that's just personal taste

overall, we think mad different when it comes to clothes and that's dope! you have a very cohesive style and a good understanding of color while applying that knowledge in a way that's very unique to you. proportions are consistently good but i also feel like that may be to your detriment cause all these fits have the exact same proportions--all the tops hit at your hips, all the pants are a little baggy, all the shoes are a lil chunky and covered partly by the pants. i'd be interested in seeing more wintery from you but if you in cali i understand why you can't bust out a coat too often. looking forward to seeing some experimentation!

both brought literally 4 flawless fits. Both have extremely well developed styles

hxns is one of my favorite poster on ktt in terms of how he puts clothing together but I feel Chase is bringing a style we dam near never see executed at his level. Wish they didnt face so early. They would have easily made it to the final rounds.

After a lot of thought my vote goes to chase, such a shame they had to go up against each other so early because Hans s*** is so fire
