Roman is like a puppy..no matter how many times Logan kicks him, he’s always going to come back to him. He craves the affection and attention

I used to wonder what Connors purpose is other than comedic relief, but man his juxtaposition seemed almost genius this episode.

In the midst of the other 3 siblings in a bitter war with their dad, Connor is the only one with any real ambition. His doomed political attempt + his fiancé having second thoughts is still a preferable headache compared to the spite fueled games being played by everyone else. He is the only one who craves anything outside of their fathers shadow, and while presented as pathetic, his attempts appear genuine on some level. Everybody else is in a scum bag competition

Perhaps this all clicked for me after seeing Logan desperately search for a beacon of reasonable decision-making in his post-heir regime to no avail. His kids had it, but they’re all out to get him now— or you have Connor who avoided the inevitable family battles from the jump.

    Good point

It starting to feel more like a real housewives type of reality show. Specially with all the drama tonight happening at a karaoke bar. But it’s so good.

y'all can correct if im wrong and dumb or ignorant but i'm really finding it hard to believe there are people like tom and greg at the top of corporate structures like this. I mean im sure their are but the show be GASSING it when it comes to showing how much of bumbling buffoons they are.

Rome better not take that offer. I’m tired of this back and forth with Logan and his kids. Logan just needs to die already so we can move the story

    It's a show called SUCCESSION

    Just started watching this Friday

Just finished last episode right now

Kinda not sure what to think

Overall I felt there would be more. Sometimes I think reality kinda f***s up the show because the show seems tame to reality in terms of ridiculousness.

The dialogue is kinda up and down. You get cheeky lines here n there, but then many times, it's just demonstrative?

Truthfully I just love all the drops offs, and stutters and things like that.

Now that I'm caught up, I realize how much is left unfulfilled and that's kinda lame. And they need to bring back the main theme in this current season. I think it really adds to the comedy with its overuse. Now that they don't, it's like they want to be taken as a 'serious drama' which just kills the vibe tbh.

    Took my like back

The way the spend I don't see how they aren't especially when majority of their money is in stocks

I feel like we've heard plenty of stories of people in high places of power that are complete baboons

Like how you hear about movies, and guys giving their input so they get credit, and they'll just be requesting ridiculous s*** for the director to add in

Or stories of how directors purposefully would put dumb s*** in to just to give these executives or overseers something to take out and appease them

Now picture that but make it big corporate

Connor was the unloved/unwanted not even seen as the first child. He just playing the role he's landed. If he was in position to be like the other 3 he would. What's this ambition you speak off that the others lack. One costly failed run for president to make daddy proud isn't 'ambition'
