y'all can correct if im wrong and dumb or ignorant but i'm really finding it hard to believe there are people like tom and greg at the top of corporate structures like this. I mean im sure their are but the show be GASSING it when it comes to showing how much of bumbling buffoons they are.

You'll be surprised lol. Alot of these roles are ceremonial. For example Joe Budden is VP of some s*** at Patreon, amp and some other s*** and I'm pretty sure that nigga don't do s*** but collect a check

I feel like we've heard plenty of stories of people in high places of power that are complete baboons

Like how you hear about movies, and guys giving their input so they get credit, and they'll just be requesting ridiculous s*** for the director to add in

Or stories of how directors purposefully would put dumb s*** in to just to give these executives or overseers something to take out and appease them

Now picture that but make it big corporate

Lol what exactly do executive producers do. It's like 30 of them on one piece of content making most of the income

Connor was the unloved/unwanted not even seen as the first child. He just playing the role he's landed. If he was in position to be like the other 3 he would. What's this ambition you speak off that the others lack. One costly failed run for president to make daddy proud isn't 'ambition'

I was thrown off to see how most ppl are taking conor's I don't need love line for face value. It's obviously a lie he lives under to cope (in the same way his siblings do).

the main thing it really highlights is how forgotten he is. He is not any different than his siblings, but at least they get some sense of validation from time to time.

Hmm I see what you saying but I think all his experiences toughened him to really feel that way

Think it's usually just financial backing and getting other investors, maybe other talent to come in

I already contextualized what I meant by real ambition. Sure it’s presented as a pathetic failure, but it’s not centered around continuing what their dad built. Connor tries to parlay his privilege into a career independent of their family legacy, whereas the other kids are dead set on being Logan 2.0.
If you didn’t see them utilizing this juxtaposition as a device more than “ha ha Connor black sheep” this episode idk what else to tell you.

Its not a bad show but I think there's a lot it clearly lacks. I can't remember where season 3 started, but I think around then they really just meandered about. S*** was lowkey boring for a bit.

Like even just the way they stretch and shape Kendall to fit their needs with whatever point they wanna make. It's a little on the nose and makes the story less enjoyable imo

Too wrapped up on the technicalities imo

All of them are dogs who don't know anything but returning to chasing an acceptance from someone who cannot give it to them, and instead uses them. The siblings from their father, Connor from Willa, and even Willa, the little dog that returns home, from connor.

  • Interestingly, shiv, Kendall had/have ppl that accepted them with their faults

I guess you can count Rome w tab too

And if you count Rome and tab, then I guess you can count Connor and Willa

All ones that likely could have worked if they weren't so self absorbed
