Getting the feeling they're trying to cripple the online portion so people have little to no choice, but to attend the actual festival since they just started back up in-person this year
Definitely fam. It’s pretty obvious at this point. Which is dumb because if you’re gonna give an online option then let ppl get a chance to buy them. It’s more money for them anyways
Whoever is gonna go in person is going to go regardless because it’s an experience. Crippling the online sales isn’t gonna bring you more in person viewers
ANIMALIA - Interesting film. Mysterious, weird. Sorta confusing.
@FlyHiii I seen alotta ppl comparing this to Annihilation. I personally didn’t see the comparison but might be something for you to check out.

Wonder if its gonna be released on streaming shortly or if it can be pirated

Not even sure fam. International films are a little harder to predict

Lmaooooo. Haven’t watched yet
Very mixed on Cat Person. Really don't know how I feel about it at all
Regardless, Emilia Jones and Nicholas Braun were outstanding

Oh nice you was able to get tickets.
Yeah I’m really curious how that movie is, I’m seeing mixed reviews for it

I think the problem that most people had with it is that it deviated completely from the short story (which is highly beloved, or at least respected?) and spiraled into a rather absurd ending
The first 2/3 of the movie were really good though

Yeah I’ve been seeing that. Have you read the short story?
SHAYDA - beautiful film, really enjoy s*** like this that stems from the filmmakers real life stories. Could see this being a potential top 10 of the year.
This, Magazine, Starling and Fair play got the top spots for me so far.
finally get to watch my films this weekend. jamojaya and run rabbit run is on my list for tonight
Magazine Dream award winner tickets are live!
and Theater Camp, but it seems like I'm the only one here who cares about that
SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT DYING - nice display of depression. Man Daisy really did her thing with this. It’s slow but slow as a way of expressing her mundane life and depression. Enjoyed this one a lot man and gives you an appreciation for life
And the fact I’m watching this in person CHEFS KISS!!!! Whole theater was interacting with the movie, laughing, cheering, incredible feeling. Got to over hear other aspiring filmmakers behind me talk about projects they working on. The energy is crazy.
And there was a Q&A after with the director
A THOUSAND AND ONE - This was cool. Teyana Taylor’s acting was meh, ok. I like the sorta plotless structure it had, more so just a mother and son trying to survive rather than there being any big goal or obstacle.
Couple of bad moments dialogue wise tho.
YOUNG WILD FREE - was decent throughout the runtime until the typical cliche ass twist happens and ruins the whole thing, even tho there wasn’t much to ruin SMFH
SHORTCOMINGS - This was cool, I liked it. Need to give it a second watch tho to fully know if I liked it or not.
scrapper, magazine dreams, and the accidental getaway driver were my top 3 of the 8 I currently watched. definitely need to watch Rye Lane when it’s out on Hulu in March. heard so many good things about it
