Byleth is pretty wack imo. It’s not like they’re boring to play or anything, it’s just they feel so lackluster. They have powerful moves yeah, but are people really gonna be getting hit by these moves a week or two later? People are going to learn how to counter this character and how to do it hard. They already get eaten alive by projectiles, which more than half the roster has anyway.

Obv I’m no professional player, but unlike Joker, Hero, Banjo, & Terry, I really don’t see this character going far at all

1. Terry
2. Hero

4. Banjo
5. Byleth

Not a single character I straight up hate, but I’m picking Byleth the least

He’s one of my most played characters now lol. Those first two weeks he was out, I thought he was mad boring. For some reason I kept playing him though, and wound up really liking him, despite how trash he was. He fits my playstyle so well.

I also do not like Banjo at all, can’t believe I ranked Byleth below him.

All the DLC characters are really not fun to play or fight against.

I hope in the next game they stick to like 30 characters and then roll out DLC. Either that or a whole new roster with just the OGs remaining.

Idk 80 characters is just way too OD. Even 50 is far too many to learn MUs and s*** in

Outside of Banjo and Min Min, I find the DLC to be pretty fun to play as . Terry, Byleth and Seph are some of my favorite characters in the game. The only DLC I really don’t like fighting is Banjo.

There’s a couple reasons why I don’t play this game competitively, and the roster size is definitely one. It’s ginormous, and I’d find myself going crazy if I took this game serious. But as I view the game now, I really love how expansive the roster is.

I love that he’s in the game generally but a lot of people abuse very annoying moves in his kit and it just becomes a chore rather then a engaging challenge that’s genuinely fun.

Like at least with other zoners like Snake and Pac-Man they can keep stuff interesting with their kit. Like there is no two Pac-Man /Snake players that play exactly the same.

he’s actually a higher tier then people give him credit for just by the fact that he can be a form of torture to play against when the person utilizing the character actually knows what they are doing with them.
