it almost feels like a repeat of the beginning of the dceu. they had the dark knight trilogy still going, had a superman ready. by the time it would've been time for a solo Batman DCEU movie, TDKR was only a few years old, and instead they spit the difference and put a new batman in a superman movie as a soft launch.

maybe they should've done that here superman followed by worlds finest with new, very different to Reeves batman

Clayface will be good and do well but it won’t instil much franchise momentum or feel like things are back on track since it feels so detached

But Clayface being good followed by man of tomorrow teaser in December everyone will be back and the Gunn will be reloaded
