PurrpThis isn’t a bad movie at all. It’s not a particularly excellent one either but the dc hate train really has this overblown.
Direction was pretty mid especially during action scenes. It really felt like a one two punch of mis aligned direction with a middling script that gave us this end result.
Final needle drop was fine would have rathered it was the real song or girls just wanna have fun but had yall not raised a fuss about it itt I prob wouldn’t have thought much about it

BlueDreamGunn is well overdue to release a new video detailing the upcoming DCU slate. Hopefully we get an updated release slate before the end of summer
It seems like the only news we get about potential upcoming movies is “we’re still ironing out the script, but things are still moving along” or “well the director is currently working on other projects, but we plan to meet with them soon to get some updates”
We won’t get an updated slate with a plan like directors writers actors attached and directors and writers getting to speak on THEIR vision
We won’t get planned composers . Gunn has a way of filtering all information through himself and him responding to random convenient fans on threads .

Director had 0 sauce and had 0 idea what he was doing there. What shoulda been a cool scene was dark and hard to follow

EverestThis franchise is never getting off the ground tbh. It’s not the late 2010s anymore, people aren’t going to support these enough and just won’t be willing to invest in something like a phase 1 mcu comic book expanded universe ever again.
All we can hope for is good projects coming out of the whole endeavour (superman, lanterns probably, man of tomorrow hopefully)
They just gotta focus on the big name people for a while instead

I mean to be fair Snyder was kind of forced into an apology tour . Which as much as I have faults with Bvs they over did it . Then his daughter died too . I am not saying apology tour move forward but lay out plan for the future

My issue with the movie is that the world feels like it only exist to move plot points and revolve around her .
she is at scene of child trafficking and we get no true update until we see them in cages then freed . Krem and his group all die and give up on trafficking children ? It’s like or wraps up too neat and gives her the perfect excuse to party off screen then know she needs to defend earth as if she solved all space problems or changed the system
