I get not wanting some superhero movies to have a lot of jokes such as Batman…but it’s Superman and supergirl lol. What are we doing complaining about lighthearted humor in them? People want every movie to have the same tone to them and look? S***s dumb. At that point you just want to make your own new superhero that has the same abilities.

Also those same people had no issue with Lex making a piss drinking joke in the DCEU…

Hero movies are only considered kids actions movies based on who you ask also the estimated intelligence of what kids enjoy has changed . Superman Batman justice league animated series had jokes but also had a greater expectation that kids could understand or follow something

Modern hero movies issue is that they don’t trust the intelligence of the audience

We’ve seen this mean nothing before but the Supergirl ‘trailer coming next week’ tweet has more likes than the superman one did by almost double momentum and hype for the universe is building in a healthy way!

This gonna go way harder than Superman I know it
